Diamagnetism
Diamagnetism is a phenomenon exhibited by materials that create a weak magnetic field in the opposite direction of an applied magnetic field.

In diamagnetic materials, the atoms or molecules have no net magnetic moment, but they do have unpaired electrons that can align themselves in opposition to an external magnetic field.
